Our love story began in 2018 when we were introduced through mutual friends. I (Reese) attended Lehman Catholic High School and Blake attended Anna High School. Despite living just a few miles apart in Sidney, we had never met until that fateful day. It didn't take long for us to realize we were meant to spend the rest of our lives together. We officially started dating on May 19, 2018, and have been each others best friend since.

As high school sweethearts, we navigated the ups and downs of teenage life together. When high school ended we both took different paths; I went on to pursue my passion for volleyball at the University of Findlay, while studying early childhood and special education. Blake went straight into the workforce after graduation and is continuing his dream of becoming an entrepreneur. The different paths we took allowed us to work on ourselves, thus making our love for each other only grow stronger each day.

After 6 years together, we took a trip to Fort Myers Beach with my grandparents to celebrate New Years Eve. Little did I know that my grandparents held onto something very special for Blake. On December 31, 2023, Blake got down on one knee and proposed. After a week of celebrating in Florida we got home and instantly began planning our long awaited future together. Currently, we are remodeling our dream farmhouse down the road from family to become our home once we are married. We truly couldn't be more excited for this new chapter in our lives, and we can't wait to celebrate our first day as Mr. & Mrs. Barhorst with you all!
